Message was the fact that I boosted too high. I had recently programmed the boost controller for high boost and "thought" 19 PSI was a safe level for short spurts. I had taken someone for a ride about 30 minutes before this happened at high boost for only a few seconds. Guess a few seconds too long. I would have thought it would have taken longer than that to destroy it though since I had only had the boost controller programmed about 1 week and only boosted to that level about 4-5 times in that time frame in the exact same fashion (over a few seconds)

Expensive lesson learned......I won't be boosting over 17 PSI from now on.
